- Be a living example of sportsmanship, fair play and a positive role model for players both on and off the field.
- Let the coach, coach.
- Provide positive encouragement to the team, coaches and players on and off the field.
- Treat your coaches, referees and opponents with respect and courtesy at all times.
- Don’t place pressure on players to win. Players create enough pressure on themselves.
- Accept the results of each game. Encourage players to be gracious in victory and to turn defeat into victory by working towards improvement.
- Encourage your child to interact with the coaches if they have questions or a concern
- Respect a 24 hour rule as it relates to approaching a coach with any concerns relating to games/tournament play.
EXPECTATIONS OF PLAYERS
- Respect the rights and beliefs of others and will treat others with courtesy and consideration.
- Be responsible for your own actions and the consequences of your actions.
- Respect the property of others.
- Respect and obey the WYSA soccer rules and the laws of your community, state and country.
- Show respect to those who are responsible for enforcing the soccer rules and the laws of your community, state and country.
- Do not use, consume or possess alcoholic beverages, tobacco or illegal drugs.
- Conduct yourself with honor and dignity.
